Oakville Preschool Learning Centre is your child's home away from home. Each day is filled with a range of activities planned out and lots of friends for your children to play with. Our staff are there to provide a structured supportive environment that facilitates FUN and LEARNING in a way that will keep even the most gifted children stimulated all day.
School Readiness programThe school readiness program is designed to aid children with the transition from preschool to school and is part of the program each day for children between 4 - 5 years old.
These children have their own dedicated room and support and take part in loads of FUN activities including:
- Name recognition
- Letters and sounds
- Numbers and addition
- Science discovery
Sharing, turn taking and other positive social interactions also form part of this program.
Reading and WritingThe preschool uses the 'Ant's in the apple' program to teach phonics which is both recognised by teachers everywhere as being the staple in early reading as well as being lots of fun!
