2009 Australian Family Fisher Price Childcare Worker of The Year
Catherine Pace was announced the 2008-2009 Australian Family Fisher-Price Childcare worker of the year for NSW and ACT at an awards presentation of Friday 1st May 09. These awards recognise Australia's child care workers who have made an outstanding contribution to children, the community and individual families. Receiving this award is a truly remarkable achievement as Catherine was chosen the winner from over 1334 applicants all of whom are exceptional childcare workers. Catherine's passion and commitment to her position at our service was praised and recognised throughout these awards as she was judged by a panel of experts including:
Dr John Irvine- Family and child psychologist
Margarat Young- President, Early Childhood Australia
Kym Groth- President Family Day Care Australia
Monique Webber- General Manager Family Day Care Australia
Amanda Morphett- President, Childcare Associations Australia
Paul Clancy- Managing Director, Australian Family

Congratulations also to Lauren Scerri who was short listed as a finalist in the Australian Family Fisher Price Rising star award, Elizabeth Sheridan who was short listed for the Director/Scheme co-ordinator award and the Centre as a whole for the service of the year award. This is an outstanding achievement as each finalist was short listed to the top 2-3 in the State from over 1000 entries.
